Texas Cottage

The ‘Texas Cottage’ is one of two larger cottages at the Comal Inn.  The cottage opens onto a large sitting porch (with ceilings fans) that runs the full length of the cottage, providing ample room for entertaining.  Relax in the comfortable rocking chairs while reading the morning paper and enjoying a cup of coffee or in the evening while enjoying a glass of wine.

The Texas Cottage has a wonderful open concept and relaxed design.  With two large bedrooms and two baths, a large living and dining area, and a full kitchen, this cottage is perfect to share with family and friends.

Each of the two bedrooms has a king size bed complemented with soft cotton sheets, fluffy pillows, and down comforters.  Each bedroom has its own private bath, one with a tub/shower combination and the other with a large walk-in shower.

The living room has a comfortable couch that converts into a queen size sleeper and comfortable chairs to relax and visit with family & friends or to watch your favorite show on the flat screen TV.  The kitchen/dining area/living room is an open concept area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a standard refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, double sink, microwave, and dishwasher.  The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, dishes, cooking & eating utensils, and the basics to be able to prepare a meal.

The Texas Cottage will sleep up to 6 guests.

Breakfast rate includes – an assortment of breakfast pastries from the Historic Naegelin’s Bakery, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee and bottled water for two mornings.

Bathroom Details:
Bath #1:  Large walk-in shower, toilet, sink, linen closet.
Bath #2:  Tub/Shower combination, toilet, sink, and stackable washer & dryer.
